Camp Curumbene offers a range of environmental programmes that include a fun, hands-on exploration of issues such as salinity, water table degradation and erosion. Tree planting is a popular activity and many schools now have their own plantation that they add to and develop each school camp. Over 16,000 trees have been planted on the campsite over the last six years!
Camp Curumbene provides all staff and equipment to run these programmes.

Your students will be able to learn about the night sky in a fun and relaxed environment. The activity allows everyone on your school camp to use telescopes and ask questions as they sit under the night sky with astronomers from a the local Bendigo District Astronomical Society.
